Sony Xperia XA features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS LCD display and is covered with scratch resistant glass. Under the hood is MediaTek’s Helio P10 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. With 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot with support for up to 200GB is also present.
The Xperia XA sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with wide angle lens. Armed with a 2,300mAh battery, Sony promises up to 2 days of battery life with Stamina Mode. With connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Sony is offering some freebies worth Rs 2,700 to the buyers. These include free three months subscription for Sony LIV and Hungama Play, Kindle e-books worth Rs 1,000, and some pre-installed games including Modern Combat with free credits up to Rs 780.
